A lot of you are probably thinking… WTF?!… you’re going to South America again?! No no no, although I wish I was, I am just writing about a place I found out about called Treewala.com. It was just launched so it is quite simple at the moment, but the underlying concept is awesome. Educate yourself about the environment, and plant trees in the process.
Treewala.com basically gives you an environmental term for which you must choose the meaning via multiple choice. It still has some things they can work on to make the game better, which they readily admit, but it’s most definitely good enough for me to start planting trees.
What’s great is that you don’t have to be a green genius to get things done. Treewala isn’t about getting experts to answer questions, it’s about getting complete newbs like me to answer questions.
I’ve already got one tree under my belt!
